Badan Perkembangan Staf JAPSER Brunei II (B) menganjurkan Sesi Kongsisama Kurikulum SPN21 Kawasan Brunei II (B). Sebanyak 5 buah kumpulan hasil gabungan daripada beberapa buah sekolah-sekolah rendah kawasan Brunei II (B) akan menyampaikan kongsisama berpusatkan kepada 5 mata Pelajaran SPN 21, iaitu 'Mathematics, Musics, Science, Social Studies dan Design & Technology - Lukisan dan Rekabentuk.

Tetamu kehormat yang hadir adalah Awang Haji Moksin bn Haji Mohammad, PPKD Brunei IIB. Antara daripada ucapan beliau ialah 'mengumpul SPN21 Best Practises sebagai bahan rujukan dalam pengajaran bagi kawasan Sekolah-sekolah rendah Brunei II (B).

Di akhir Sesi Kongsisama ini nanti, guru-guru diharapkan akan berleh pelbagai idea dalam strategi perancangan dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran murid-murid yang boleh diguna pakai di dalam bilik darjah yang menjurus kepada kualiti pengajaran. Hal ini merupakan salah satu bagi merealisasikan hasrat Kementerian Pendidikan dalam SPN21.

Persatuan Pandu Puteri Brunei Darussalam telah mengadakan bengkel 3 hari bagi pemimpin-pemimpin baru ahli pandu puteri dan tunas puteri yang diadakan di Pusat Latihan dan Ibu Pejabat Persatuan Pandu Puteri Brunei Darussalam, Anggerek. Bengkel 3 hari tersebut bermula pada hari Khamis.

Seramai 72 orang ahli pemimpin baru pandu puteri dan tunas puteri ditunjuk ajar cara-cara persetiaan dan aktiviti-aktiviti yang dapat dikongsi-sama.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jumaat - Majlis Penyampaian Waran Pemimpin Pengakap dan Penolong Pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap seluruh Negara berlangsung baru-baru ini yang bertempat di Dewan Serbaguna Pengakap Tingkat 5, Bangunan Ibu Pejabat Pengakap Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Seramai 102 orang pemimpin dan penolong pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap dari seluruh Negara telah menerima Waran masing-masing yang melibatkan Pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap dan Penolong Pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap di peringkat sekolah rendah, menengah, maktab kerajaan dan pendidikan swasta.

Waran atau tauliah surat kuasa yang dikeluarkan oleh Persekutuan tersebut kepada individu-individu yang menyandang lantikan sebagai pemimpin-pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap atau Penolong-Penolong Pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap sebagai tanda pengiktirafan bagi menjalankan tugas mereka di dalam pasukan masing-masing (sekolah).

Pemimpin dan Penolong Pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk memastikan kelancaran kegiatan dan memajukan pergerakan Pengakap di negara ini khususnya dan dunia pada amnya. Bersesuaian dengan kehendak SPN21 yang dihasratkan oleh Yang Berhormat Pehin Menteri Pendidikan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jumaat - Seramai 102 pemimpin dan penolong pemimpin pasukan pengakap dari seluruh negara menerima waran pelantikan mereka pada Majlis Penyampaian Waran kepada Pemimpin dan Penolong Pemimpin Pasukan Pengakap di Dewan Serba guna ibu pejabat Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam (PPNBD), hari ini.

Yang hadir untuk menyampaikan waran kepada penerima ialah Ketua Pesuruhjaya Pengakap Negara, Haji Badar Haji Ali yang dalam ucapan beliau menyatakan visi PPNBD menjelang 2013 ialah mempunyai seramai 10,000 anggota pengakap.

Pasukan itu sekali gus akan menjadi pergerakan belia yang utama dalam menyediakan program yang mencabar serta membangunkan kecemerlangan belia dan akan memainkan peranan penting dalam pembangunan bangsa.

Beliau juga berkata visi PPNBD adalah selaras dengan visi Kementerian Pendidikan untuk menyediakan pendidikan yang menyeluruh untuk semua bagi mencapai potensi yang maksimum.

Katanya dalam Sistem Pendidikan Negara Abad Ke-21 (SPN 21) jelas menunjukkan terdapat pelbagai program pendidikan yang dirancang dan dilaksanakan dan salah satu adalah pelaksanaan pendidikan kokurikulum.

Beliau menerangkan harapan Menteri Pendidikan adalah supaya kegiatan kokurikulum yang terancang dan lebih teratur akan dijadikan medan untuk menanam dan memupuk pelbagai kemahiran yang diperlukan untuk mencapai hasrat kementerian.

Sehubungan itu kegiatan kokurikulum sudah menjadi kriteria wajib dalam pertimbangan untuk mendapatkan biasiswa di dalam dan luar negara, menyertai kursus di institusi pengajian tinggi dan juga untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan.

Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian waran kepada 102 penerima oleh Haji Badar yang diikuti dengan lafaz Persetiaan Pengakap dan Ikrar Aku Janji oleh penerima waran.

Waran atau tauliah surat kuasa yang dikeluarkan Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam kepada pemimpin dan penolong pasukan pengakap adalah sebagai tanda pengiktirafan bagi menjalankan tugas mereka dalam pasukan pengakap di sekolah masing-masing.

Dengan memiliki waran itu seorang pemimpin atau penolong pemimpin mendapat perlindungan insurans daripada PPNBD sekiranya berlaku kemungkinan yang tidak diingini terhadap diri dan juga anggota pengakap di bawah pimpinan mereka.

Mereka juga mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk memastikan kelancaran kegiatan dan memajukan pergerakan pengakap di Brunei dan juga di dunia.

BASE camp aims to enhance SPN21 through science, technology

The Brunei Association of Science Education (Base) is focusing their 18th Base National Science Camp this year on enriching SPN21 through science and technology.

The 120 participants, all Year Eight students from 32 secondary government and private schools, seemed to be ecstatic about the social-oriented activities at the camp, which is being held at Sekolah Menengah PDSM Mentiri

The guest of honour, Pengiran Hajah Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Kamaluddin, the Acting Director of Examination Departments, Ministry of Education officiated the opening ceremony. The event began with a speech delivered by the Co-Chairperson, Pg Hamiosmera bin Pg Hj Othman and the guest of honour. The latter was also taken on a tour of the camp site.

The science camp, organised by the association with cooperation from the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP), will be held for four days.

Scientific activities and cultural performances, such as mind mapping, activities from volunteers and essay writing competitions, are among the activities lined up in the hope of motivating whilst enhancing the participants' knowledge and experience in science and technology, as well as their communication and leadership skills.

Along with several volunteer activities by BASE, MTSSR and BASE Chapter activities, the participants are also required to conduct a science project presentation that will be recorded in CD format to be used later in classrooms as learning aids.

The science camp will also feature a Webquest for supervising teachers.

A car stumbled on its side after hitting a tree in front of Masjid Setia Ali, Serasa. This is the third accident which happened this month on the same place. The driver and three passengers walk away with minor injuries only. It happened at about 12.40pm during the rush hour.

Guess where this is? They need to take 'Undang-Undang Jalanraya' exam one more time.

All this parking idiots inda pandai faham erti sign board 'No Parking'. Huruf 'P' yang dipangkah meant 'No Parking'. Where is the security? Kenapa inda dilarang orang yang parking di sini? Sampit jalan tarus oleh all this parking idiots. Apatah lgi yg parking hampir simpang. Payah melihat incoming cars if we want to masuk jalan.

On the way to work, I caught into a traffic jam at Muara- Tutong Highway near Nakhoda Ragam Vocational School. I thought it was a road block but then I saw the steel rail on the junction of the Vocational School bent.

The accident involved three cars in which I dont know the story how it happens. But according to my friend who was there earlier, it happens when a car is U-turning at the Vocational School's Junction.

A Dusun man recently embraced the Islamic faith during a conversion ceremony, which was held at his Muslim sister's residence at No 18, Lot 19, Kg Perpindahan Serasa in Muara. Officers from the Dakwah Unit performed the conversion ceremony, which was held in conjunction with the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The new convert's brother-in-law, Awg Jeffrey bin Lakim, and the Village Head of Kg Serasa, Awg Hj Hassan, were among those who witnessed the conversion ceremony. Awg Antoni bin Marak is now known as Nor Rahmat bin Abdullah Marak.

My friends and I went to McD after a meeting because Prosperity Burger is in the menu. Nyum.. nyum.. I can only imagine the taste. Unfortunately, I cant order it because I got an ulcer :(

Really look delicious. Hopefully, I recover from this ulcer soon before the Prosperity Burger is out of the menu.

Sambutan Jubli Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam di Sekolah Rendah Serasa dimulakan dengan pergerakan lalu menuju ke dewan Sr Serasa sambil mengibar bendera Brunei Darussalam.

Sampai di dewan, murid-murid menyanyikan lagu patriotik Brunei Darussalam beramai-ramai.

Aktiviti kuiz diadakan untuk murid-murid menjawab. Soalan kuiz disoal oleh CIkgu Hjh Maskupah Haji Said.

Hadiah bagi penjawab yang betul disampaikan oleh Cikgu Norlaina Abd Hamid.

Selepas waktu rehat, murid-murid aktiviti kolaj bendera, mewarna bendera, mewarna logo hari kebangsaan dan membuat poster.

Every day, 5 minutes before the break time ends, a bell rang to signal for the pupils brushing their teeth. This was organized by the Health Unit in the school.

Group discussion as an activity of SPN21 really works for the pupils to enhance their cooperation and gain their interest in learning.

So we order the same as hers, SO-BUL GO GI (Barbequed Beef).

Not yet cook, the fun thing is that we have to cook it ourself.

My wife placed every meat in the pan.

Nyum.. nyum.. nyum...

The way to eat.

First, barbeque the meat into a pan.

Second, put everything onto the salad.

This is after mixing everything into it with don't know what. Maybe 'Korean' thing.

Third, roll the salad like this.

Lastly, just eat it. Yummy. So nice................. and so delicious..................

We ate everything. So nyaman brabis skali in the world.
